Vessel Operator Training Class
NavCal Marine Services LLC is offing a Vessel Operator Training Class. This class will teach basic vessel safety, planning, operations, and cruising. The class will include both classroom and on-water instruction by a Coast Guard Licensed 100 Tom Master with 50 years of boating and sailing experience in vessels from 10 feet to 200 tons. The class will be based in part on information contained in NavCal's "TENNESSEE RIVER GUIDE BOOK, Chattanooga to Knoxville" and will include a copy of this book ($12.00 value). On-water training will be conducted on TRACE 1 (see below) a 42' x 10' Coast Guard certified passenger vessel. TRACE 1 is a twin-screw outboard powered vessel equipped with dual VHF radios, fuel management hardware, and GPS based Chartplotter.
