NavCal River RidesNavCal Marine Services Longer Distance CruisesNavCal Marine Services offers Longer Distance Cruises that most any other vessel in the East Tennessee area. All of our longer distance cruises except for the "from Chattanooga" are for a minimum of 10 passengers unless special arrangements are made.We offer the following trips at this time: One-day relaxed cruise to Louisville and returnThis is a 46 mile round trip at a relaxing speed of about 10 miles per hour. You may bring a lunch to eat at Louisville Point Park or go to Louisville Marina Restaurant for lunch. This cruise is designed to show you some of the prettier homes and sights along the upper part of the Tennessee River at a relaxing pace. Minumum 10 passengers WD $30 each and WE $38 each. One-day brisk cruise to Ft. London Marina and returnThis is a 92 mile round trip at a more brisk speed of about 15 miles per hour. You may bring a lunch or go to at Calhoun'S of Ft. London Marina for lunch. On this trip you will see more of the river and the approaches to the Fort London lock. You will also see Ft. London Marina, THE WATTS BAR BELLE, and Calhoun'S restaurant on the water in the interesting marina area. Minimum 10 passengers WD $55 each and WE $68 each. Two-day cruise to Spring City and returnThis is a 206 mile trip with one lock through each way. Meals and an overnight stay at Arrowhead Resort and Marine before the return trip are at your expense. You will pass through the Ft. London lock with its 75 foot drop/lift and spend the night at picturesque Arrowhead Resort and Marianna. You will see 46 miles of Ft. London Lake and 57 miles of of Watts Bar Lake.We will pass London, Kingston and the mouth of the Clinch River. Minimum 10 passengers WD $125 and WE $156. Two-day cruise to Chattanooga with return by busThis is a 184 mile trip with three lock throughs. Meals and an overnight stay at Arrowhead Resort and Marianna and the return trip by bus are at your expense. This trip will cover the most beautiful part of the Tennessee River all the way to downtown Chattanooga and the Tennessee Aquarium. In addition to Ft. London lock you will pass through Watts Bar and Chickamauga locks. You will pass through the Tennessee Wildlife Refuge on the Hiwassee River with all of its interesting bird life. Two hour dinner cruises can normally be arranged for those that like on THE SOUTHERN BELLE in Chattanooga. You will have until noon the third day to see Chattanooga before returning by bus or van to Knoxville. Minimum 10 passengers WD $220 and WE $275. Two-day cruise from Chattanooga with first leg by busThis is a 176 mile trip with two lock throughs. Meals and an overnight stay at Arrowhead Resort and Marina and the downbound trip by bus are at your expense. You will board TRACE 1 at Chickamauga Marina just above Chickamauga lock to save time because of our 11:00 departure.This trip is recommended for individual cruisers or couples that are not part of a group. You may book this trip up to five days before departure. You get to see almost all of the same river sights as our 184 mile trip at a more economical price and you don't need to be part of a group. No minumum WD $210 and WE $262. Four-day cruise to Chattanooga and return by boatThis is a 368 mile trip with three lock throughs each way. Meals and overnight stays at Arrowhead Resort and Marina and Chattanooga are at your expense.This is our longest trip at this time for the really serious cruiser. This trip gives you twice the opportunities for photographs. The second half of this trip can be booked up to the night before the return departure if space is available on the boat and at Arrowhead Resort and Marina. We will need to depart downtown Chattanooga by 8:00 to allow time to reach Chickamauga Marina in time for the remainder of the return trip passengers. Minimum 10 downbound WD $330 and WE $412. Long distance cruises includeWe can arrange and offer lunches at cost. You are responsible for all breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals and overnight lodging expenses. All two-day or longer cruises include a free copy ($12.00 value) of our "Tennessee River Guide Book". Two-day or longer cruises include sodas, water, coffere, tea, and fruit at no additional cost. You may bring reasonable quantities of beer and wine aboard these cruises. Any cruises that cover only Monday through Thursday are at a discounted rate. Cruises including any Friday, Saturday, or Sunday are at the regular rate. TRACE 1 is certified for a maximum of 19 passengers and has 13 double seats.
1st Mate, Captain, and satisfied cruise organizer just after arrival and unloading luggage from a downbound, two-day trip in cool weather. All cruises except the "from Chattanooga" must be booked and 50% deposit paid ten days prior to departure. Final payment is due three days before departure. These trips are intended for compatible groups of friends as we will be together for the entire trip. Passengers can be added or substituted after the deposit is paid but not removed. Cruises with less that final payment for at least ten passengers three days prior to departure will be canceled and the deposit forfeited. Cruises may be canceled by NavCal based on anticipated weather conditions with full refund of any deposits or payments. |
