NavCal has published its second and much expanded edition of its TENNESSEE RIVER GUIDE BOOK. The book is a resource for those cruising the upper part of the Tennessee River and is authored by a commercial captain with 50+ years of boating experience both power and sail, commercial and recreational. The largest part of the 80 page book is composed of a mile order number listing of Facilities, Daymarks, and Daybeacons. On the facing page there is space available to make notes like what you saw and photographed. The Guide is MUCH more detailed than the facilities listing below and contains marina pictures where available.

The remainder of the book consists of chapters on:

• Time, speed, distance cruise planning (how to plan your cruise in the time you have)
• Passengers, guests, and crew (who to bring with you and why)
