ETPG Home | About ETPGAs our home page says we dedicated to bringing you the truth about pirates and encouraging others to participate in Pirate Fests and increase their historical knowledge of the Golden Age of Piracy. What you see in the movies and on TV is not accurate. Pirates were not Robin Hood of the sea and neither did they make captives walk the plank. They were robbers with boats. We are also interested in pirate festivals and fests as a way to increase and share knowledge and a great way to have fun. At this point we are beginning to add members of like minded people to our group. For now all of our meetings will be held by email notices so anyone is welcome to join and there are no dues at present. Anyone is welcomed and encouraged to contact us by email, at the dock at 300 Neyland Drive, Knoxville, TN or by phone at 865-765-3407. Capt Greybeard AKA Capt Farmer is a captain aboard the Tennessee Riverboat Company's 230 passenger THE STAR true sternwheel riverboat. He may not be able to hear or answer his phone at times during cruises but just leave a message and he will get back to you. Please consider "going on account" (joining) our group of sea (river) dogs by becoming part of our membership. |
