This is going to be a continuous work in progress. If you have any suggestions PLEASE
let us know.
Books:
- A GENERAL HISTORY OF THE PIRATES by Daniel Defoe, 700pgs, 1724
- UNDER THE BLACK FLAG, by David Cordingly, 250pgs, 1996
Web links:
- Pirates and Privateers is a very good source for current and archived pirate information.
They also have a neet newsletter you can subscribe to. Keep up
with what is hapening in the pirate world.
- Wikipedia Piracy is the best source of
information that we have found. They have extensive links that we will try to include on
our other pages like our pirate names page.
- No Quarter Given is a site with extensive
pirate information. They have published an interesting newsletter since 1994.
- Rusty Scupper Pirates is a fun group
with their own ship (well kind of).
